Boulder-based AlphaSniffer, a 3-year-old company developing monitoring technologies for biological warfare and gene-analysis tools for medical care, received a series B round of funding from a group of private investors, the company announced Tuesday.
R.C. "Merc" Mercure, one of the new investors, was elected to AlphaSniffer's board.
Previously, the private company raised a first round of private funding and $320,000 from Small Business Innovation Research grants.
